Can’t beat the price!!

My local physician recommended this to help (not stop or cure) some upper respiratory symptoms of a well-known respiratory disease that is currently circulating. Taking this as a supplement once a day in the morning appeared to be beneficial. Because I have a sensitive stomach, I took it with food. Hope that helps someone out there.

I'm not sure how to rate this product other than to say it appears to do the job. I haven't tested my Vitamin D levels, but I have a sense it's a pretty good combo

I like the higher dose 1 or 2 times a week . It takes a while for the body to process vitamin D . Also the body can burn through quite a lot from stress and other factors . I try to maintain 60 or more ng/d in blood tests . So I like a high dose capsule .

Easy to swallow

My doctor informed me that my vitamin D levels were low after drawing blood as part of a routine physical. He advised me to begin supplementing it because I work third shift and don't get much sun exposure. It enhanced my mood, energy, and sleep. It took some trial and error for me to find the right dosage, but it was well worth it.
A word of caution: my doctor initially recommended that I take 100,000 IU per week. I barely slept with such a high dose. I eventually began trial and error testing to determine what dose was best for me in terms of mood and sleep, and I've settled on 5k twice a week.This does not include the 800IU per day from my basic multivitamin. Remember that vitamin D is a hormone, not a vitamin, and that taking too much of it can have serious consequences. Listen to your body and progress slowly. Take one of these and pay attention over the next few days to when your mood, energy, or sleep quality begins to deteriorate, then take another.

These are extraordinary pandemic times. My doctor suggested that I start taking this particular dose of d3 during my over-the-phone doctor's appointment. It was recommended because I am a "high risk" for covid-19. She said it should boost immunity, and I'll take any boost I can get. The size as well as the suggested dosage surprised me. I assumed I'd have to take this every day, but the bottle says to take 1 softgel every 2 days. I felt so bad for those who posted pictures of the softgels stuck together into one big blob because my bottle and softgels were both in excellent condition. I'd buy them again.

Except for those who work outside, everyone needs more vitamin D. These were, in my opinion, excellent value for money. Take these or another favourite brand, but if necessary, increase your Vitamin D intake. Vitamin D is required to increase intestinal absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphate, as well as many other nutrients. You'll feel a lot better.
